I happend to see this really amazing motif a few days ago and I just simply cannot get myself out anymore. I need to make one for myself. I found out this motif is called Tropical Delight and designed by Susan Stevens. The pattern which has been out of print for some time and Mellie from Mellieblossom.com (I do not know for some reason her website is done )contacted the designer and in the endthey made this pattern for free for non-commercial purpose. If you want, you can hop over to her website and read this story. Really big thank you to both of them.

Part 1 Tutorial is here.
Round4: Join with a sc to any 6th dc from a petal counting from left side and ch5.
Sc into the first dc of next petal on the left side. Remember? First ch3 from previous round doesn’t count as a st.
Ch7, sc into the 6th dc of the same petal.
Repeat ch5, sc into the first dc of next petal counting from left side, ch7, sc into the 6th dc of the same petal, ending the last repeat at ch7, join with a sl st to first sc.
Skip the first st, sc into the ch-5 sp, 9dc and sc in the same sp, skip next ch-7 sp, * do (sc, 9dc, sc) in next ch-5 sp, skip next ch-7 sp, rep from* around and join with a sl st to first sc, break yarn and fasten off.
Remember for this round, we are going to skip all ch-7 sps and it looks like this at the back. This ch-7 loop will be used later.
In the end, it will look like this at the front.
Round5: Join new yarn with a sl st to first dc of a petal, sl st in each st around.
In the end, we are going to finish this round with invisible join.
Drop off the hook and pull the yarn through.
Thread the needle and insert it into the st next to first st in the beginning.
Insert the needle back into the back loop of the last st from this round.
Pull it through and hide the tails. In order to make the joining part smooth, I on purpose skipped the first sc from previous round and didn’t make a sl st into that st.
In the end, it looks like this.
Round6: Join green yarn with a sl st to the back loop of 5th dc out of 9dc from round5, ch2.
Tr in ch-7 sp which we skipped before and 2dc in the same ch-7 sp, ch1.
Drop off the hook and insert it into the top of first tr, insert the hook back into the dropped loop. Pull it through to finish popcorn A.
Ch3 again, sl st back into the ch-7 sp, and remember this sl st which will be used in next round. It is very important, ch4 again.
Make a tr, 2dc, in the same sp. Drop off the hook and insert it into the top of ch4, Insert the hook back into the dropped loop. Pull it through to finish popcornB. Ch2 and sl st into the back loop of 5th dc out of 9dc as shown in the photo.
It will look like this in the end.
Round7: Join new yarn to the back loop of 5th dc where the sl st was made from previous round and sc over this st, ch2, sl st to the top of popcorn A.
ch2.
Remember the sl st I recommend you to remember from previous round. We are going to work right into it.
4dc into the sl st. Drop off the hook, insert it into the top of first dc and back into the dropped loop again. Pull it through to finish popcorn C , ch3.
Make another popcorn C in the same sl st.
Ch2, sl st to the top of popcorn B, ch2 and sc right over next sl st from previous round.
Repeat: ch2, sl st to the top of next popcorn A, ch2, (popcorn c, ch3, popcorn c) in the sl st , ch2, sl st to the top of next popcorn B, ch2, sc right over the sl st from previous round around, ending the last repeat at ch2 and join with a sl st to first sc.
Round8: Still remember that back loop? there are 2 vertical lines indicated by 2 white arrows. We see each line as a st.
Join white yarn as a sl st to first line and then sl st to second line.
Ch1, fpdc around the popcorn A
5dc in ch-2 sp, fpsc around popcorn C, (3dc, ch1, 3dc) in next ch-3 sp, fpsc around next popcorn C.
5dc in next ch-2 sp, fpdc around popcorn B
ch1, sl st into next 2 vertical lines.
Repeat [Ch1, fpdc around popcorn A, 5dc in ch-2 sp, fpsc around popcorn C, (3dc, ch1,3dc) in next ch-3 sp, fpsc around next popcorn C, 5dc in next ch-2 sp, fpdc around popcorn B, ch1, sl st into next 2 vertical lines ] around, ending the last repeat at ch1, finish this round with invisible join like what we did for round 6.
In the end it looks like this.
